I've set this website up as a central repository for information because I was frustrated at the fact it was so difficult to configure an asterisk server due to lack of cohesive information available on existing sites. The existing sites while good as a reference, were horrible for anyone new to asterisk.

The plan is to setup this site as a step by step guide to installing and configuring a basic to intermediate level server and should cover pretty much everything most people will find themselves asking for.
